Under Fifth Circuit Rule 34.7, members of the media cannot use cameras ”or other equipment designed for the recording or transmission of visual images or sound” in the courtroom during oral arguments. Cell phones and electronic devices must be turned off before entering the courtroom. Members of the media and the public can access oral argument recordings on the Fifth Circuit website.
